10 SEO Tools
There are many great SEO tools on the web but finding them can sometimes be a challenge. Throughout our daily workflow we use and come across many of these tools.
Below we have assembled a list of these tools in no particular order:
- Link Counter Tool
Shows the amount of outgoing links for any web page. - XML Sitemap Validator
Validates and checks out the XML sitemap of a website - HTML Markup Validation Service
Validate the HTML code of a site and see if there are any bugs. Fixing the errors and warnings can help increase the value of the site SEO. - CSS Markup Validation Service
Validates and checks the CSS or Cascading Style Sheets on a website to see if there are any errors or warning in the code. - Google Indexed Pages Checker
Find out how many pages of a website are indexed in Google. The more indexed pages the better for SEO. If there are no indexed pages on Google, that is a problem that needs to be addressed. One possible issue is the robots.txt file is prohibiting indexing of the site pages. - Pingdom Website Speed Test
Check the speed of any site and what possible issues may be causing it to be slow. Pingdom will grade sites as well ranking them against other sites (this site is faster than 63% of all other websites) - Broken Link Checker
Discover broken links on a site in order to fix them. Google and other search engines penalize sites with broken links because it provides a poor user experience. - Alexa Web Traffic & Rank Analyzer
Alexa offers insight into the global and US ranking of a website. It shows how much traffic and popularity a site has. Note that some sites that are new or have too little traffic will not appear on Alexa. - Similar Page Checker
tells whether other sites have the same content as yours. Duplicate content is a serious issue to a positive SEO campaign. - Keyword Density Checker
is another great tool that shows how many times a keyword appears and how much the keyword density is. This information is key to as successful SEO campaign.
