You’ve heard the old cliche, the customer is always right! This may be going away in the current business marketplace, but here at SkyPoint we believe that the customer is always right.
We fully believe and hold it in our hearts that the customer cannot ask too much of us. It is simply not possible!
This has been a fundamental change in the way that we approach business. In the beginning formation years of the business, it was common to come across a misquote of a project that would end up getting frustrating when they seem to go along and not be able to cover the costs.
This has always been just a matter of perspective, because margins are going to be better on some clients than other clients. Once we started recontextualizing the concept of customer service and put the customer first, focusing on their needs above our needs, our business flourished and our clients are very happy.
It’s funny because we’re in the business of doing web design-ing and graphic design-ing and making creative pieces so we should really love that.
If the client wants to go in a different direction or make some edits or changes or make some additions that should be something we should be happy about, not upset about! It’s truly just being grateful that the customer is so engaged and desiring a certain outcome that we need to appreciate and hold on a high pedestal.
Revisions are a joy for us. It’s something that we get happy about and we want you to do more revisions and changes. Revisions mean we’re getting closer to something that you will love!
I think this makes us uniquely different in the web design World and it is a unique selling point for our company. It’s the philosophy I want to be the founding and steady rock of our business as we grow.
How do you approach customer service in your business? Feel free to shout it out in the comments below I would love to have an open discussion with you (:
