Terminology page SEO is a really cool way to generate value for a website by offering the terms related to an industry. No, it’s not going to be something that many people are going to reference, or use on the regular, however they may.
The main thing that this does for a website owner is give them something that they can update on the regular. Google wants to see that you are invested in updating your website with the most recent information.
But how can we have a page that we update every single day if we want to?
That’s a big challenge if you think about it. That’s where terminology page SEO comes in. With terminology in an industry, it’s pretty easy to come up with new terms to add every single day or every single week.
I recommend building out a terminology page that has some terms on it, maybe four or five to start and then logging in every day and adding a new term to it.
This is really powerful because Google sees you’re working on your website every single day. Now the actual workload for you to do this is light and it’s an easy challenge, however the payoff can be quite great.
If you’re having a hard time coming up with content for your blog, I really recommend going with the terminology page SEO technique. The more terms that a page has the better it’s going to rank. It’s a good idea to have some intro text and some outro text on this page so it’s not just terms.
Also, make sure that you’re using a plugin like SEO Yoast to put in the keyword that you’re trying to rank for on the page. For example, ‘Construction Terms’ or Plumbing Terminology’ or ‘Web Design Terms’.
