SEO won’t die because it is a core part of the internet. What that means is that whenever people are writing and reading, SEO will be a part of that process online.

SEO stands for a Search Engine Optimization and is a way to connect what people are looking for with the search engines that index and curate websites and website content. As long as the web is around, SEO will be a part of it and SEO won’t die.

I think it’s important to emphasize this because there are people out there who try to say that it will go away or that it will be replaced by robots or AI. This is simply not the case. Robots will never be able to do what humans do in the sense of creating contextual content and connecting it to what humans are looking for.

Now it is true that SEO can be assisted by AI and it is possible for tools like Grammarly to help humans write better content or for automated link providers to work on certain elements of creating better SEO, however humans will always be a part of the process.

The core fundamentals of what SEO are quality, relevant content created on a regular basis. The web will always need quality contextual and relevant content. It will always be a part of writing no matter how much new media comes forward such as the metaverse, immersive video, 4K, 8K etc.

Writing will always be a part of the web because that’s how humans think. Humans thinking in text and writing those thoughts will always occur and therefore we will always need a web search engine to index and calculate that writing into a way that other humans can easily find it. As long as this is the case, SEO will always be a part of the web and SEO won’t die.
