Domain authority is a scoring system created by Moz, one of the top companies leading the way in search engine optimization or SEO. They came out with the scoring system called domain authority, which is a scale between 0 and 100 to show how prominent a website is in search on platforms such as Google and Bing.
There are 40 different ranking factors that go into the domain authority score, but some of the main ones are how many back links a website has, how long website has been online, the quality of the backlinks, the quality of the content on the website, how often the website gets updated with new content, the structure of the website, and many other factors.
