For us to get SkyPoint Energy in a place where other people are looking for energy drinks, I might make up an article titled “What is the difference between Red Bull, Rockstar and SkyPoint Energy”
On that blog post I would write 1500 words describing the difference between the founders of the company and their mission, the taste of the product and its ingredients, and the way that they are giving back and involved in their community.
I might even make a chart showing the differences between the levels of caffeine, amount of additives and sugar, overall taste compared to competitors, etc.
The reason that this works so well is that Google picks up the article and puts it in more traffic streams because they see that were talking about the two big brands in the space Red Bull and Rockstar. Google places our brand in the stream of traffic when people are looking for the well known brands.
So as a small business you can use this to place yourself in the stream of traffic against your competitors. This is a super valuable SEO technique for products and for services.
