Avia layout builder can fail to work on occasion. In this article I’m going to show how to troubleshoot and fix this issue. It’s common for the builder to show circling loading icon and not load the page:
It looks like the page builder is going to load but it just keeps circling and never does. This issue with the Avia layout builder can be very frustrating when you’re trying to work on your website.
So how to fix the Avia layout builder when it’s not working?
The way to fix this is to check for any type of code that might’ve been added to the page that will need to be moved somewhere else. This type of code can be CSS in-line code or JavaScript code or iframes.
iframes come in several types such as videos or embeds from other websites. It may not be possible to use some embeds in the Avia layout builder. In-line CSS will need to be put into the Enfold options area of the theme where the style is managed.
At the very bottom of General Styling and the theme options is a box call Quick CSS. This is where you’ll need to put any type of in-line CSS calls and remove them from the page that is not working.
How do we get the code out of the page if it isn’t working?
What will need to be done is roll back the page to a current version that works. Then put the code that you want inside the quick CSS area and update it, save & go back and check to see if the page is working properly now.
That’s how to fix the Avia builder if it’s not working properly. Have questions about how to get Avia layout builder to work properly on your website? Drop me a line on our contact page!
